Signed our contract with our photographer, Rachel McPherson today!! We are so excited to work with her!

We met with Brett and spoke with Aaron. Brett was EXACTLY what we were looking for, he will be INCREDIBLE!! So you all better be up for a long night of dancing! Bring some comfy shoes!!!

Rachel McPherson from www.decenturbanweddings.org. Holly took Audrey in to meet her together (someone had to know what they were talking about) and she was amazing! Holly loved her and we all clicked right away! She will do engagement photo's, rehearsal, and entire day of wedding!!

Well we are on the hunt for a photographer...
What a process...all we want is someone not too expensive and we don't even need albums, we can do those ourselves. We just want TONS of photos!

2.20.20 ~ Signed the Contract!
Signed our contract at the Ocean View Inn and Resort today! We LOVE the place! 9 hour rental, water is across the street, ceremony on location, BEAUTIFUL View, 5 bedroom suite above the hall for an entire weekend wedding!!

Narrowing it Down…
Okay, we decided for our own sanity to give up on the Cape idea. So we are focusing now on the North Shore. Today we narrowed down our options to 2!
The Nahant Country Club (not on the water, but close enough for pics, beautiful ceremony area, and awesome bar!! Hehe)
The Ocean View Inn, Gloucester (right on the water, suite, big hall; hotel, suite, and pool in one area ours for the weekend)
The Hunt Begins...
Well we have a few places to look at in the next coming weekends.
We are still looking for on the water and now since we know we want a "weekend wedding", we are looking down the Cape. But man is it pricey! We fell in love with the Wequassett Inn in Chatham.
But of course we will be looking on the North Shore as well, checking out a the Emerson Inn in Rockport, Castle Hill in Ipswich, The Elks and The Ocean View Inn in Gloucester, and the Nahant Country Club and doing a few more drive by's as well.
If anyone has any ideas, feedback is great and will help us create the perfect day for our guests. It's almost as if we just want it to be great for YOU.
We want everyone to eat and enjoy it. We want everyone to dance and have fun.
And we just want to be married ;)

We drove down the Cape this morning to see the Wequassett Inn. It is amazing!! If we could have we would have booked it on the spot.
Few downsides though…getting everyone to the Cape and possibly having to do the ceremony on a Sunday night hmmm…
